Friday Afternoon on September 26th about 10 minutes until we needed to pack up to go home, it was time to release our classroom friends. We are learning about the insect life cycle, particularly the butterfly. The students really enjoyed have our friends here in the class and we wished our friends a safe journey. " Good Luck Butterflies!"
Students worked with partners to complete number line practice towards the end of their math block. Great job seeing strategies and cooperative learning with the students! .
Students kicked off their learning of Animal Needs by creating a paper plate animal face of any animal with given supplies of markers, crayons, yarn, with black and brown construction paper.Students will later describe specific animal needs necessary for their animal's survival. A busy Art/Science integration of the lesson.
Students were apply to apply their learning of plants on Friday with hands on investigation in the Bang Elementary garden.It was a fun filled day and the students really enjoyed their time.
Today students in Ms. Tran's math and science classes used actively collaborated with one another to create a performance demonstrating plant needs. Four groups performed today with sock puppet shows and skits. I can not wait until day two of the performances. Our Bang Bears are doing a great job applying their knowledge and creating authentic work.
